| My wife, Denise, and
I have been educating our ten children at home for the past 16 years. I
was born and raised in Pensacola and truly love the Panhandle and home
education. We lived in Alaska for many years before moving back 11 years
ago. I believe it is my responsibility to be a faithful husband to my wife
and a godly father to my children by raising them in the nurture and admonition
of the Lord. I see the best way to do that is to home educate them. It
is my desire to work with the leaders, as well as parents, across the state
to make a positive impact for both veteran and first-time homeschooling
parents. Remember as parents, you are investing in your children¹s
future and no one has a more vested interest in your children than you
do. Homeschooling may be challenging at times, but it is well worth the
effort. I pray that God will bless each and every one of you during your
journey to educate at home.
