DISTRICTS
The state of Florida is divided into 14 geographical districts, each having one district director. Each director serves the counties in his or her district. Directors from even-numbered districts are elected by members in his or her district in even-numbered years; odd-numbered districts in odd years. 

FPEA district directors serve as volunteer contacts for new homeschoolers looking for support groups and as liaison between homeschoolers and district school superintendent. When new local networks form, directors are available to assist. 

Directors also work on your behalf by informing public officials and the general public concerning the virtues of home education and our constitutional right to do so.
