Seniors-Only Activity Day, 10 a.m., Suwannee Meeting Rooms

Here are some of the many activities included in this fun-packed day intended to help you get to know your classmates:

    • Meet-and-greet
    • The lap pool has been reserved for the Class of 2008 beginning at noon. Free swimming and other fun activities are planned throughout the day.
    • Ice-breaker games and a scavenger hunt
    • Evening movie after the charge/encouragement
    • Class project activity

Come and go as you please, and eat at one of the many hotel restaurants or at the food court near the Convention exhibit hall. There is no charge to attend any of the activities themselves.

    Senior Class Charge/Encouragement, 7 p.m.
In lieu of the traditional talent show, and to better accommodate the needs of all graduates, the FPEA will host its first Senior Class Charge/Encouragement with guest speaker John Stonestreet from Summit Ministries. Due to the limited time for commencement and as participation in the Saturday-night ceremony continues to grow, this Friday-evening program will not only permit parents and other family members to attend, but will also make more time during the commencement ceremony for other program elements. This event is free to seniors, their family members and friends. Come be encouraged, edified and enlightened through John’s message.

A movie will follow the Charge/Encouragement program in Suwannee Room 13.

    SATURDAY, MAY 24, 2008

    Mandatory Meeting
Beginning at 1 p.m. sharp, graduates will meet in Suwannee Room 13 to meet Taraleigh Davis, graduation coordinator. They will then be divided into two groups, A-L and M-Z, to proceed with the practice of scripts and photo session. The group photo will be taken during this time. Graduation rehearsal will take place immediately after the script readings.

FPEA Statewide Graduation Ceremony, 7 p.m., Sebastian Ballroom

Graduation Dinner/Dance following the ceremony, Panzacola Ballroom (reservations required)

Rosen Shingle Creek dictates the price of parking; the FPEA does not! After 5 p.m. on Saturday, there will be an $8 parking fee if you are not already a hotel guest and if space is still available. Those who cannot park on site will be directed to the off-site parking facility.
