Senior Activities Schedule 2010

    This list of activities will be posted at the FPEA Florida Homeschool Convention registration desk as well as FPEA Graduation Information Table in Suwannee. The Activities Coordinator will be Jan Vroegindewey, if you have any questions regarding the activities below please email graduation@fpea.com

    FRIDAY, MAY 28, 2010

    Seniors-Only Activity Day, 10 a.m., Suwannee Meeting Rooms

    Here are some of the many activities included in this fun-packed day to get to know your classmates: 
     

    • Meet and Greet
    • The lap pool has been reserved for the Class of 2010 beginning at noon. Free swimming and other fun activities are planned throughout the day.
    • Ice-breaker games, a scavenger hunt
    • Class Project Activity 


    Come and go as you please, and eat at one of the many hotel restaurants or at the food court near the Convention exhibit hall. There is no charge to attend any of the activities themselves. 

    SATURDAY, MAY 29, 2010

    Senior-Only 8:00 a.m. 
    Volleyball tournament—Sign up lists will be on the GAC (Graduation Activities Coordinator) check in table at Friday’s events. If you do not have a team, we will form teams from interested individuals. 

    Mandatory Meeting & Rehearsal 1:30 p.m.
    Beginning at 1:30 p.m. sharp, Graduates will meet in Suwannee Room 13 to meet Joanne Mastronicola, Graduation Coordinator. At that time the group photo will be taken. Graduates will proceed with the practice of scripts. Graduation rehearsal will take place immediately after script readings. All graduates are required to participate or they will not be allowed to walk during the ceremony

    Graduation Dinner will be held in the Panzacola Ballroom —reservations required 

    Graduation Dance will be held separately in Sebastian Ballroom —reservations required 
     

    SUNDAY, MAY 30, 2010

    FPEA Statewide Graduation Ceremony, 11 a.m., Sebastian Ballroom

    Graduation Buffet Luncheon will be held in the Panzacola Ballroom —reservations required 
     

    The Rosen Shingle Creek dictates the price of parking; the FPEA does not! On Sunday, there will be an $8 parking fee for self parking and a $15 parking fee for valet.
