My wife, Renee, and I have been blessed with two wonderful daughters ages 10 and 13. We have been homeschooling them for the past nine years. For us, home education was the only option we ever considered. We just could not see ourselves sending our children to someone else to teach them their values. We wanted to make sure that they would grow up with the Christian values we hold true. Homeschooling has also afforded us the ability for my family to travel with me when I travel for business. This has been such a valuable learning experience for our children.
It is truly an honor and a pleasure to serve District 9. I look forward to meeting with each of our groups and helping them in any way I can. I also look forward to helping new homeschooling families traverse the homeschool terrain as they embark on a journey that will leave its imprint on their children and their lives forever.
