I don’t know about you, but every year at Convention I see how much fun our children are having in the Children’s program, and I get to thinking …. “Hmmm ….. I want to go do some of what they are doing”! With this year’s theme … LEGEND OF THE FEAST, I’m pretty sure I’m going to be feeling the same way.
Again this year, Children’s Conferences International will lead the children’s program for ages 5-12. This program will allow you to drop off your children while you attend lectures and workshops or visit the exhibit hall. Your child will be having fun and creating new friendships while learning.
This year’s theme will be “Legend of the Feast.” It is the story of the Ravengood brothers (Ethan and Gabriel) and their journey to find something to satisfy the deepest hunger of their hearts. One brother’s journey even takes him to dinner with pigs. Each brother experiences unique and exciting adventures as they seek to uncover the legend. Much to their surprise, the brothers discover that the key to solving this legend is much closer than they ever could have imagined.
In addition to CCI’s trademark excitement and improvisational humor on stage, “Legend of the Feast” will be presented as a fully produced musical. Original songs will help drive home the message about a heavenly Father who loves each child unconditionally and wants only good things for each of their lives. Plans are in the works for the “Legend” soundtrack to be available at the Convention.
The cost is $75 per child for both days (Friday and Saturday), which will cover lunch. Once you have registered for the Convention (registration begins January 31st) you will be directed to www.childrensconferences.com to register for the children’s program. More information about CCI and “Legend of the Feast” can be found at the same site.
So don’t forget to sign up the little’s for these fun filled days so that you can enjoy your time at Convention while knowing that your “treasures” are being entertained in a safe environment.
Come back soon to check for additional updates of what we have planned to make your 2012 Convention a fun, productive and enjoyable weekend.
