Anyone can sell or buy. There is no cost to sell, but everyone is encouraged to give a donation to the Home Education Foundation to support Brenda Dickinson, our lobbyist in Tallahassee (see leader table).
Bring your own table, chair, blanket for the ground, cash bank, and curriculum and books to sell. It will be hot, so bring plenty of water along with lunch or snacks. You are responsible for your set-up and clean-up. Set up on the playground side. Anything left behind will be donated to the library or charity. There are woods just behind the playground, so you are responsible for your children, if you bring them.
Items sold are limited to tools for homeschooling, such as books, games, videos and curriculum. This is not a yard sale, nor is it a venue to promote your business.
For more information, e-mail Marlene at marlene@tampahomeschoolconnections.com.

CAT Testing for Homeschoolers
Open to all homeschoolers! Grades K and up can be tested. This is a low-stress, and even fun testing option for homeschoolers. Last year there were even kids asking to keep testing!
The CAT tests vocabulary, comprehension, language and math skills. It is a great overall test recommended by several homeschool professional authorities and organizations. At the end of the testing you will receive a letter to give the school district to meet your year-end requirements. Tests results are private and will be mailed directly to you.
You must RSVP and pay for all tests no later than May 1. E-mail BayHomeEducators@yahoo.com for more information.
