Top Ten Things You Don’t Want to Miss During Your Visit to Gaylord Palms Resort: Key West Lagoon

#2

Travel to the country’s most southern point, Key West, without ever leaving the resort! Stand on the Marlin Dock and wave hello to Stamos, our 95-pound, rescue tarpon, or Popeye the Red Fish, during a live Fish Feeding in our Key West Lagoon. The 360,000 gallon lagoon is the largest known euryhaline exhibit—where saltwater fish have been accustomed to live within a relatively low salinity habitat – in the world! The Key West Lagoon is also home to mangrove snappers, snook and stingrays. Guests have a chance to participate in fish feedings on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons at 1:00p.m.
